Hi everyone! My name is Megan and I am currently living in Los Angeles completing my first co-op. I am originally from San Diego, so the move to Los Angeles wasn’t too drastic for me. I am a history major, who is going into my 3rd year, which a passion for learning about pre-modern and modern European History (so if anyone wants to talk about the Jacobite Uprising of 1745 or the outcome and causes of World War II, I’m game!) In addition to loving history, I also have a huge passion for music and filmmaking and have been to at least 56 concerts…sorry to my roommate who I dragged to a lot of them! My co-op is at Brave New Films, a non-profit organization that makes social justice documentaries and shorts. I highly encourage you guys to check out some of the videos that they have made (you can find them for free on their website!) While living in Los Angeles, I plan to do blog posts about the most interesting food, beaches, concerts, museums, and tourist attractions that there are to offer in LA.
